纵贯线

So I went to this concert on Saturday. Not exactly one of their greatest fans, but went I did, initially to accompany the fan girl to see her favorite idol of this boy band Uncle band. Considering the youngest member A-yue ish already 36, almost can call 老男人band already.

Their 纵贯线 is going along the "railway" theme, and not surprisingly, one of their sponsors in SMRT, which of course would had been more appropriate for 动力火车 hahah
Still, it was a pretty good way to spend an evening, and the rather large variety of songs coming from the group as well as from each of the 4 individual singers was very entertaining.
they also played the nostalgia card and many of the tunes comes from way before Y2k, like a hip hop remixed version of 我是一只小小鸟 and oldies like 童年 and favorites like 朋友.

If theres one thing that put a cold blanket of the whole event, is that the crowd does consists of those who are not of the current generation. Yep, the uncles and aunties in the crowd are farking cold and dead. Thanks to their amazingly dampening powers of being able to stay absolutely still in the most happening of hip and rock-themed remixed songs, I feel very detached from the whole experience. Maybe shd pay more to sit closer among the crazy fans at the lower seats who have no claims about screaming and waving enthusiastically.

The next concert i watch better be something like Linkin Park where the crowd goes wild, otherwise i'm not going. sheesh.

亡命之徒 was the finale, and its a fitting and satisfying end to the 3 hrs long concert, probably one of the best songs of the series.
